Client Advisory Committee

CAC Bios


The mission of The Arc of San Francisco Client Advisory Committee (CAC) is to improve leadership, communication, and organizational skills while advocating for the rights of self and for those peers who cannot advocate for themselves.

Since November 2004, we have met to help create goals for The Arc and advocate for all people with disabilities. We meet to discuss issues and make a difference. Current topics we are working on are: health, respect for mobility needs, advocacy, and social needs.

All clients of The Arc are invited to attend a meeting of the Client Advisory Committee every third Thursday of the month from 10:30AM-12:00PM at 1500 Howard Street, San Francisco.
If any clients are interested in joining the CAC, it is recommended that they attend the CAC Discussion Group which meets every Friday from 1PM – 2PM.
