The Arc of San Francisco has been a leader in California with job placement of persons with developmental disabilities. Currently, The Arc supports over 200 clients employed in part-time and full-time jobs individually and in small groups integrated in the community.
The Arc provides assistance with job placement, job training, and job retention services for adults with developmental disabilities. Our experienced instructors assist employers with job training once our clients are hired and continue to provide on-going support to the extent necessary – usually a few hours per week or per month, as the client becomes more independent in his or her job duties.
