Individual Services

Individual Services

All services are individualized. In some cases, the individual's needs may be provided in small groups of 3-8 clients per staff person. In some cases, it is appropriate for the individual to receive one-to-one support on the job or in his or her home, but perhaps only a few hours each week depending on the individual's level of independence on the job or in the home.

For individuals with the most intensive support needs due to behavioral challenges, multiple disabilities, extreme frailty, or severe physical disabilities limiting mobility, The Arc provides one-to-one support five days a week within the community. As with all other services, Individualized Day Services focus on promoting skills development and full participation in physical, educational, recreational, and, when indicated, vocational activities within the community.
