The Arc must raise $200,000 a year through fundraising efforts to provide the supports our clients need. This would not be possible without a caring community.
Government fees do not cover all the services we provide, such as housing development, client self-advocacy efforts, assistance with securing affordable housing, social clubs, computer access, and a number of other supports.
The Arc's 1999 $1,000,000 Capital Campaign allowed us to build San Francisco's first affordable housing for people with developmental disabilities.
Our Arc Angel Society is comprised of individuals and businesses who pledge $1,000 a year or more for five years. By making a multi-year commitment, Arc Angels help us support our clients and plan for the future.
